Meet Our Dentists

Laura

FRONT OFFICE / REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT

Laura is our amazing and outstanding front office Registered Dental Assistant. She has been with Dr. Moyneur and Dr. Perisho since 2014. Laura started in the dental field 35 years ago. Her daughter Alex worked in our office for 6 years before moving to the Bay Area. Laura enjoys getting to know patients on a daily basis and is great at making them feel at ease. During her time off, you can find Laura seeing the latest movies, traveling, fine-dining and of course listening to music.

Tanisha

REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT

Tanisha is our talented and experienced Registered Dental Assistant. As the newest member of the team, Tanisha brings a fresh perspective and energy into our practice. She grew up in the Bay area and has lived in Sacramento for 14 years. With 23 years as an RDA she excels at helping our patients stay comfortable in the office. Tanisha loves the beach, traveling and reading. She is also a Licensed Traveling Esthetician and loves spending time with her two daughters and her mother.

Sandie

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Sandie is our kind and caring dental hygienist here at Moyneur and Perisho Family Dentistry. She is an extremely talented patient educator and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. The relationships built with patients and the family atmosphere is something that Sandie truly represents in our practice. When Sandie is not working her magic here at the office, you will find her knitting, baking something delicious, on the golf course or traveling with her husband and their daughter.

Lois

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

We are fortunate to have Lois on our team. Not only is Lois a seasoned hygienist who also works in a Periodontist office, but she is also Dr Moyneur and Dr Perisho's mom. She loves educating and motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 7 grandchildren, traveling as much as possible, and playing with her Golden Doodle, Sierra.

Diane

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Diane is our newest hygienist, although she is not new to the dental field. She spent a short time as an educator in middle school and high school early in her professional career, before becoming a dental hygienist. Diane has developed a well-defined oral health philosophy over the years based on a strong foundation of personal oral hygiene skills. She loves getting to know her patients and developing an individual plan for everyone. Outside of the office, Diane is an avid outdoor adventurer and especially enjoys hiking and backpacking. You'll often find her spending time with her husband and Sheltie and never misses an opportunity to boat or go to the beach. "Love the life you live, live the life you love."

Dr. Joshua Perisho

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Perisho was born and raised in Stockton, California. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles and studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, for his undergraduate education. He enjoyed the atmosphere so much he decided to stay for four more years by attending dental school at UCLA as well. Dr. Perisho married his high school sweetheart while in dental school. And after eight years in Southern California, the couple relocated to Sacramento. They enjoy being closer to their family and friends in the Northern California area. They have two beautiful daughters. In his free time, Dr. Perisho enjoys snowboarding and other outdoor activities in Lake Tahoe and the Sierra. After playing the trombone in the marching band during college, he remains an avid UCLA basketball and football fan. Dr. Perisho is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS). He stays on the cutting edge of dentistry by taking continuing education courses throughout the year.

Dr. Megan Moyneur

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Moyneur was born and raised in Stockton, California. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she attained her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology. After graduation, she married the love of her life, and they moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she attended University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Even though they loved the Midwest, Dr. Moyneur and her husband, Matt, always knew they would head back to California. They said goodbye to Michigan and decided to settle in Sacramento and start a family. They now have three wonderful young children and enjoy watching them grow and play. They are so happy to be able to spend considerable time with both sides of the extended family throughout the year. Dr. Moyneur likes to play almost any sport but especially enjoys soccer, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. She has recently taken an interest in running 10Ks and half marathons, although she doesn't consider herself a runner. She is usually up for any activity involving friends and family. She also takes great joy in cheering on UCLA and Michigan during football and basketball seasons. Dr. Moyneur is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS). She enjoys taking continuing education courses to further her dental expertise.
